Blended Learning BLS and First Aid for Birth Workers/Healthcare
Saturday, April 26th 2:00-4:00 PM
at West Geauga Library, Chesterland, Ohio (Eykyn Room)
Join us with instructor Sarah Saefkow for a blended learning BLS and first aid class at West Geauga Library.
There is an online component to be completed before class. It takes about 2 hours for the BLS portion and about 2.5-5 hours total if first aid is included. This must be completed before class. Once the invoice is paid, I will send the online links so you can get started.

$60 for BLS and $20 per first-aid add-on (Pediatric, Adult)

Babysitter's Safety Bootcamp
Saturday, May 3rd 1-4 PM
at 134 Main Street (Mother Rising) Chardon, Ohio
This course provides a comprehensive overview for those who wish to become babysitters. Course will include the HSI CABS (babysitter's Safety) course, CPR/AED for all ages, and pediatric first aid. Some of the topics covered include:
- starting your babysitter business
- when to call for help
- questions to ask potential clients
- EpiPen administration
- what to do in an emergency while you wait for help
This is a blended learning course, so some online work is required beforehand.
$35 per module (CPR/AED, FIrst aid, Babysitter's Safety) or $90 for all three

This course provides a comprehensive overview for those who wish to become babysitters. Course will include the HSI CABS (babysitter's Safety) course, CPR/AED for all ages, and pediatric first aid. Some of the topics covered include:

Community CPR/AED and First Aid
Thursday, May 29th 6-8 PM
at Thompson Library, Thompson, Ohio
Come learn CPR skills for all ages, from adult to infant. This class includes anti-choking techniques, using a CPR mask, Narcan use, and the recovery position.
First Aid skills include EpiPen administration and control of life-threatening external bleeding.
Our training manikins contain built-in feedback for up-to-date CPR guidelines. Pocket barrier masks will be provided to all participants at the end of class. Online coursework included and required before class date. 2 year certification included.
$50 for CPR/AED class (all ages) and $75 for CPR and Adult First Aid combined.

Mother Rising Infant Care/CPR Class
Saturday, June 21st 10-1:45 PM
at 137 Main Street #2, Chardon, Ohio
Join Mother Rising for a hands on infant care & CPR class, designed to give new and expecting parents the confidence and skills to care for their little ones. Led by expert instructors, this class covers newborn essentials plus a certified CPR trainer from Saefkow Training Center will guide you through lifesaving infant CPR and anti-choking techniques.
